WARMINSTER DAY 5

Au programme cours le matin et promenade à Warminster l'après midi : chocolat chaud et souvenirs. Et le soir tout le monde bosse les compos et avec une aide précieuse en maths et histoire géo ! Sur les photos : le repas et les devoirs du soir. Et le fameux passage piéton à emprunter obligatoirement...car une route traverse l'école.

Le mot des élèves

For my 4th day in Warminster school, I had English as an Auditionnal Language (EAL) where we learned how to understand a document and how to describe it, find the key words and select them for the redaction. It was very interesting. The teacher explained to us the organisation of their English final exam that they had to prepare during 2 years. Then, in the business class, we prepared a presentation with the other pupils in the class. For the French one, we had to teach 6th years pupils a poem without showing them the text. It was a great experience and we were proud of them after. Alison

Today I had a German lesson , This lesson wasn't like German in Stanislas . In the beginning there were only 4 pupils in the class and they had a really good level in German , in my opinion when there is only a few pupils , they can have more interactions with the professor so they can better learn and understand. Next we read a text an we had a commentary about the text to do and we had to find the adjectives too . Finally, we did a game which consisted of one pupil writing a letter on the board and other pupils had to guess the word with asking questions . I found this game really interesting because we had to think about what we know and about how saying the questions . I appreciated this lesson a lot because i could see another point of wiew about German lesson and in a fun way . Pierre

This afternoon, we went to warminster city to visit the town. warminster is not a big town but there is a lot of places to chill with some friends and this is what we did with all the group. some people drunk coffee or chocolate and after we did some shopping to see the english lifestyle. We stayed 2h in the city and then we went back to the campus to take time for us. For example some of us stayed in the common room to tchat and play cards and the other studied. Alexis
