WARMINSTER - DAY 3

Mardi 10 octobre, nos jeunes ont retrouvé leur look "normal" pour une matinée bien fraîche à Stonehenge.

Day 1

Today, for our first day, we began our trip visiting the school with some of the tutors that are in charge of us during our whole trip. Then we went to our common room to have a snack and know more about the school’s rules. We finally spend some time in the school together before going to lunch and to our bedrooms. We finished the day unpacking our stuff and being all together in the gymnasium first where we practised a lot of sport and then in the common room where we listened music, played, and chatting. That was a big day but we spent a great time.

Day 2

For this second day, we began with a tradicional breakfast in the cafeteria before beginning our first day of class. We had then a Time of prayer in the Church near the school to begin the day. Our classes there were different than in France in the methods and the number of students but it was really Nice too. The one that I prefered was the French class one with Alexis because it was us who were in charge to teach the new learners of French in the school. It was so Nice to share all we know with them and it was a great way to practise too. Then we finished our day like the previous day with diner in the cafeteria before going to gymnasium and spending time all together in the common room. Then we went to bed after this very tiring day.

Day 3

We started our day by meeting our tutors and talking a little with them. Then, we attended to an assembly of students and teachers where the school director presented an eight-weeks future project.
However, to me, the best part of the day was the trip to Stonehenge, the well known site composed of prehistorical stones that emplies many of hypotheses and suspitions ( for instance : some people   assume that the Easter Island's statues are the head of a body and that Stonehenge represents its foot). Even though it was such a cold place, the hour we spent there was very interesting and impressive that is why everyone bought a souvenir. After that, we came back to the campus and ate lunch.
Noa

I had history class it was really great they were not a lot of students so the teacher was able to help us with the subject because that was our first time Talking about philips the second's reign in Spain. In general in England the teaching methods are really different than ours, in France, so he helped us and was really patient.  After this we had a reading time so a the headmaster gave us a lecture about his trip across the Atlantic in a roawing boat. He was really passionate about this story cause it was his own. He did it with a really good friend of his when he
was in the military. It was really captivating and inspiring to see someone that followed his biggest dream. In consequence That motivated us to believe in ourself and to always fight for our goals.
